Excursions

A wide range of excursions allowing our students to experience the diversity of Swiss culture at first hand is included in all our courses.

In such an interesting and beautiful country there are so many places of interest that our central location is ideal for the organisation of a great variety of exciting visits.

The following are some of our most popular excursions:

Montreux
Château de Chillon, Lake Geneva, the world famous Jazz Festival ( 3 weeks in July).

Vevey
The Nestlé Food Museum and Swiss Games Museum, folk market, St Antoine Shopping Centre

Lausanne

Geneva
The United Nations, Red Cross Museum, Water Jet, Shopping

Bern
The Swiss Parliament, the Bear Pit, the Zoo, the Cathedral, Quaint Arcade Shopping.

There are also shorter trips to such places as the walled village of Gruyères with its château and famous Gruyère cheese factory. Close to this is the Nestlé chocolate factory at Broc, a big favourite with many students since they are allowed to sample the various types of chocolate created there. The provincial town of Bulle with the Gruyerian Museum is nearby, as are many picturesque alpine villages such as Château d’Oex and Gstaad, combining all the quaint charm of traditional Switzerland with international renown.
